LEADING London law firm Lawrence Graham has strengthened its shipping team with the appointment of Charles Baker, an experienced maritime and trade lawyer, as a new partner.

Baker has more than twenty-five years' experience in maritime law, covering all areas of shipping disputes. He has built up particular expertise in unsafe port and unsafe berth disputes. He speaks fluent French, German and Norwegian.

Kevan McGregor has joined the London office, Paul Billowes will join the firm's Piraeus office after twelve years with Ince in London, and Harry Hirst is rejoining the admiralty team in Hong Kong, after a period with Richards Butler.
